Associates Day- IATEFL 2013
I had a very busy day today. I attended Associate’s Day at the Arena and Convention Centre in Liverpool. This special event is where representatives from Teacher Associations (TAs) from all over the world gather to discuss issues and challenges that are common to most TAs such as membership benefits, fund raising, development opportunities, strengths, weaknesses, goals, etc.
It was a really good chance to meet teachers from every corner of the world who are members and delegates of Teacher Associations like FAAPI or ASPI. There were presentations and discussions about different topics such as what could IATFL do for its members, the use of target language in class and continuous development. It was a great start for the IATEFL conference!
I’ve also met three other Argentinean teachers who are attending the conference this year and I’m really looking forward to meeting more people and learning more during this busy week.
I´ll keep you posted!!!
